Why shop environmental?
We offer organic food - currently foused on grab and go snack type items. We also offer "fair trade" goods - shich means the workers in other countries are guaranteed to be receiving a fair wage for their work. Tea, coffee and chocolate are the 3 most important items to buy fair trade and sustainably harvested.
We also offer items other than food that meet our criteria for our Green Store. We sell cups made from corn and spoon made from the starch of potatoes. The stationary products that we sell are either made from recycled paper, or made from waste materials, such as denim, coffee and garlic skins!!
Along with our great selection of organic foods, utensils, cups, and more - we also carry really well designed T-shirts!
These are organic cotton, hemp and one is even made of bamboo. Bamboo is actually a very soft and drapey and makes really great clothing. Several pieces of our clothing line are dyed with clay.
All but one of our clothing lines are made in the USA!!
